Jacobo D. Wasserman
About
Jacobo D. Wasserman combines an internationally trained legal background with a rigorous working methodology, focused on anticipating problems before they become conflicts. His approach is that of the strategic advisor: an ally who stands by his clients not only when a problem arises, but in every decision that can prevent one.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), with specializations in Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation, and Corporate Law, as well as a Law and Political Science degree from the Universidad Latina de Panamá.
His practice covers Corporate and Commercial Law, where he advises companies on structuring their operations and managing legal risk. In Family Law, his approach is comprehensive: he applies negotiation and mediation techniques when the case allows, and litigates with rigor when the process demands it, always focused on achieving the best outcome for his client and guided by the best interests of the child as a governing principle. For Jacobo, the success of a case begins long before reaching a courtroom: it begins in the planning.
